Beauty Protocol, Study 05: Second Face.
A pale mask fitted over half the face, seam markers where it meets the skin, a small three-circle overlap symbol in the corner. The only study in the series where the subject looks back at the viewer. It is not clear whether the second face is being put on or taken off.

Study 01 measured, 03 marked, 04 corrected. Here the protocol replaces. The drawing is monochrome ink on cream, the only colour is red: the lips and the single word that names the study.

Printed large on the front. Back is blank.

Care

Machine wash inside out at 30°C on a gentle cycle with similar colours. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Hang dry away from direct sunlight. Iron on low, inside out, and never directly over the print. Do not dry clean.
